Who this applies to

Joey is a private household assistant operated by ben (the “operator”) for use only by his immediate family members. Joey is not a public service and does not accept messages from anyone other than the small set of pre-approved family phone numbers added manually by the operator.

What we collect

When a family member texts Joey's phone number, we collect:

• The text of the message
• The phone number the message was sent from
• The time the message was sent

We do not collect device identifiers, location, contact lists, financial information, or any other category of personal data.

How we use it

Messages are used solely to operate the household assistant: remembering household tasks, generating responses, and showing household activity to the two parents on a private dashboard. Messages are never used for marketing, profiling, advertising, or sold or shared with third parties.

Where data is stored

Messages are stored in a private Supabase database. Replies are generated by Anthropic's Claude API. Inbound and outbound SMS is delivered by Twilio. These vendors process data on our behalf solely for the purpose of operating Joey.

Sharing

We do not share message contents or phone numbers with anyone outside the family or the vendors listed above. We do not sell data. We do not use data for advertising.

Your choices & revocation

Family members can revoke consent and opt out of messages at any time, by any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP to any message from Joey. The number is removed automatically.
• Email ben@marvelseweranddrain.com. Email is monitored daily; revocations are processed within 24 hours.
• Ask the operator (Ben) directly in person to remove the phone number.

Once revoked, the phone number is deleted from the database and will receive no further messages.
